Jen Slaw's juggling combines grace, humor, skill and beauty with a captivating style which delights and inspires audiences. Performing since 1991, her style is influenced by her diverse backgrounds in art, dance, and structural engineering, for a unique, creative, and feminine presentation.
Jen was the recipient of the 2002 International Jugglers' Association's Three Ball Award for creativity and innovation in three ball juggling. She has entertained audiences of all ages for a variety of corporate, educational, and private clients including American Express, Chase, Merrill Lynch, Ben & Jerry's, Holland America cruise lines, F.A.O. Schwarz, and Cirque du Soleil.
Jen is the co-director of Juggling Life, a not for profit program that trains young volunteers to provide inspirational programming for ill and disadvantaged children, and she has appeared on Good Morning America to promote the charity's work.
An experienced instructor, Jen teaches private and group juggling and circus arts classes to students of all ages and levels. She has taught with the Big Apple Circus, A Midsummer's Dreaming Theatre Company, and in many schools and libraries across the US. She is often invited to lead workshops for advanced jugglers at juggling conferences.
Recent projects include collaborations with performers from Cirque du Soleil and Ringling Bros. in The Love Show and with World Champion juggler Tony Duncan on acts combining unique juggling with dance, theater and comedy.
Jen is a graduate of Swarthmore College with degrees in art and engineering and currently lives in Nutley, NJ.
